EyeControl gives a voice back to the millions of “locked-in” patients worldwide.

"Locked-in” patients have full cognitive function but are unable to move or to speak. They use their eyes to communicate and to control devices.  Conditions that can lead to the state of being locked-in include ALS and other motor neuron disorders, stroke and traumatic brain injury. Moreover, patients within ICU departments are sometimes left temporarily “locked-in” due to medical procedures or being connected to devices which don’t enable communication.

The EyeControl device is the first communication device that enables “locked-in” individuals to communicate using only eye movements without the need for a screen.  With this simple to use wearable device, patients can communicate 24/7 with their loved ones and caregivers.
